Rick Zeeb – President
Rick has worked with people of wealth his entire career. First, as an investment advisor at Smith Barney (now Morgan Stanley) for 20 years. And then as a Planned Giving/Major Gifts Officer for two non-profit organizations for the next 15 years. His passion is helping non-profits excel by tapping into all the abundant resources available to them.
Rick graduated with his degree in Philosophy from Willamette University in 1975. In 1980 he moved to Salem, Oregon to help manage a family owned Escrow Company. In 1982 he became an investment advisor, staying with the same firm until he left Smith Barney in 2002.
Rick was introduced to the non-profit sector in 2000 through the Leave a Legacy program. It didn’t take long for him to conclude that there was more to life than “earning someone an extra quarter of a percent on their IRA account”. In 2002 he began the process of seriously looking for a position in the non-profit sector where he could use his skills to make a difference in the lives of others.
He currently lives in Salem Oregon where, as he says, “I have been married to ‘the love of my life… the woman of my dreams… the answer to my prayers’ for 43 years.” They have children living in Eugene, Oregon and Helena, Montana. He is also “Gramps” to 2 very special grandchildren.
